Just one question, I went through every page on this thread: One poster said something about the serial number being different on the box. He said that the BD550 will recognise the 2TB drive and is very quick to access files on the HDD, unlike the B100 which can take 2-3 minutes. i'm guessing it goes unresponsive when reading large chunks of data to put in a cache, most notably when browsing a large directory or when starting playback of a file for Dakeyrus writes...
Any other suggestion because according to you guys its not the disc which i thought was faulty its that I don't have the proper audio equipment. I tried other various crap like different HDMI cables, turning the setting off, restarting the player, turning the 24hz setting back on — no luck.
