Command Space Mac Not Working


I don't know what caused it but symptom #1(Spotlight menu icon highlights, but no search form appears) has occured to me a few times. I love using it "LIVE" while giving presentations to large audiences on BiG screens. if you hit the "fn" key, you can use the subscript numberpad on the macbook's keyboard. However, found this on a different page and it worked for me.
