Be sure to scrub end-to-end, if you miss some of the metallic connectors you won't fully solve the problem. I cleaned both the connector on the system and the cartridge using all of the above methods. Everything seems to be pointing to your system not sensing the cartridge. Looks like I might have to spend the extra to send it in to get fixed.Damn, me too. The light doesn't come on anymore or anything. I got the cords from amazon and it said that they would work with the SNES.

It was working perfectly all this time and even the previous day I was playing it. If it's a PPU or VRAM chip... I thought it seemed wierd that it would load the first couple screens and then play all the music if there was a problem with the cart.
