After an hour it's like brand new. thatds why i was confused as to where the issue was. I have the recovery partition about 10-11gb untouched, i'l do a recovery flash usb when i buy the vaio and restore the system on factory settings a lot of time , I've had at one time also an old 30 gb hard drive when the 80 failed.

I spent 1000 on this laptop 6 months ago and i just dont think i should have to purchase recovery media for 50.00. I have done this in the past, it's hit or miss depending on the hardware. Then we need recovery cd.

VAIO computers were originally manufactured by the Sony Corporation, but the division was sold in February 2014. As you said, Sony was of no help what so ever!
