But, as others have said, your MKVs may still stutter due to DTS sound. http://atomirc.net/sound-not/sound-not-working-9-04.html

By default the application output a 5.1 channel video, so if you switch to stereo, the transcode will be a little faster. If you're using PMS or TVersity to transcode 1080p video, most PCs are just going to choke up (in part because these apps are not optimized for multicore CPUs). You can also copy those ones straight to the ps3 hd, you'll have to rename them from "no encode" to the actual movie title. Attitude ain't everything, but it helps! Default media extender doesn't even show the video. So I downloaded and installed that, and he found my PS3. I'll have to look into that as well.
That would be so awesome. https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/762474-audio-problems-using-ps3-media-server/ I watch them all the time. I have learned this the hard way and will never go back. Are you running the latest unstable (beta) version?
Some of my stuff randomly stutters. check over here However, PS3 doesn't support all kinds of AVI files: only AVI files with Motion JPEG (Linear PCM) or Motion JPEG (u-law). with vista and xp all i needed to do was share my hard drive and it would then show up on both systems. hochrisdge 2015-03-04 07:43:18 UTC #6 Maybe this explanation from a tutorial will help you: AVI, a container format support multiple streaming audio and video, is one of the most popular and
the only way i could get it to work was thru media center on my 360 but i cant just see my pc anymore on the ps3 or 360. My video playback is stuttering. If it can't and too many advanced profile features are used, it'll have to reencode the video. inner-G View Public Profile Send a private message to inner-G Find More Posts by inner-G WasteLand Soldier Banned (12-02-2009, 07:19 AM) Quote #30 is that something you download? Thanks in advance !Criticall_(Laptop has Windows 7 (32 Bits), but it's the same laptop and Windows system as my friend...)(PS3 is connected to a router (wireless), same as the laptop, but permalinkembedsaveparentgive gold[–]benjp2k1[S] 1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago(7 children)You are on the latest version of the unstable. you need the extra bandwidth for 1080p content. I also have a girlfriend who uses it, change is BAD.
It'll copy the file to your PS3's hard drive and you can play it from there. How did I not know this?! You can then continue to use Win7 to stream. :) HoTHiTTeR View Public Profile Send a private message to HoTHiTTeR Find More Posts by HoTHiTTeR Dambrosi Member (12-02-2009, 05:53 AM) Quote http://atomirc.net/sound-not/sound-not-working-on-hon.html While we're on the subject of MKVs, does anyone know how to disable the subtitle track when playing them on my PS3 with PMS?
No RF interference or DOS. My life will be better now. :lol But what about that muxing on the fly? The PS3 has no control and I can't find any option in PMS. Unless you have a Wii, since its wireless performance is fine for SD content, and its ethernet adapter is supposed to be crap.
If you could screenshot your audio and video settings that'd be helpful. Less data to transfer with a 44.1 Hz file. Currently, there are no PS3-compatible receiver dongles available, but as you know, it is compatible with your wireless-n router. So, if you have the opportunity, I'd say to go wired every time.
The integration is perfect, push 1 button on remote, media centre begins and it's all good. Check the links on the side bar for a download. over DLNA/network) then just select copy. media center sucks and it over complicates things.
If your PS3 can not play AVI files, it must be because the imported AVI files contain other video and audio codecs. catfish View Public Profile Send a private message to catfish Find More Posts by catfish hateradio The Most Dangerous Yes Man (12-02-2009, 08:52 AM) Quote #47 Originally Posted by catfish I've I'm sitting around 200 movies at the moment, just not all mkv. permalinkembedsaveparentgive gold[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago(3 children)Awesome thanks.
